She was born Jan. 12, 1936, in Rockport, the daughter of George and Lillie M. Grimsley Malone. She married Ross S. Hall on Mar. 21, 1951, in Keokuk, IA, and he survives.

She is also survived by four daughters and two sons, Carolyn E. Hall and Steve (Brenda) Hall, both of Meredosia, Debbie Hall of Jacksonville, Charles R. Hall of Naples, Lori L. (Mark) Phillips of Golden and Lisa A. (Eric) Ebbing of Mt. Sterling; fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and one brother, George Malone of Lincoln.

Mrs. Hall was a member of the First Baptist Church of Meredosia. She enjoyed camping with her family. Helen had a servant’s heart, and she enjoyed cooking for anyone and everyone.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church of Meredosia, with burial at Oakland Cemetery. The family will meet friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Meredosia, and 10-11 a.m. Friday prior to the service at the church.
