Amy Noel Trissel, 58, of Jacksonville, Illinois, died Thursday, January 15, 2026, at her home.

She was born December 24, 1967, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Gerry and Dolores L. (Collins) Trissel.

Amy is survived by her father, Gerry; children, T.J. Anderson, Justin Anderson, and Holly Arnold; her siblings, Val (Rick) Lenover of Virginia, Chris (Brenda) Trissel of Ashville, NC, Daniel (Ruth) Trissel of Ashland, Leigh Anne (Tony) Millner of Virginia, and Jennifer (Brian) Thompkins of Mascoutah; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and her brother, Gary "Bo" Trissel.

She graduated from Virginia High School in 1986. Amy loved knitting, crafting, and listening to the police scanner.

Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a private burial at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Virginia. The Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Jacksonville is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be left online at buchanancody.com.
