Andrew Daniel "Drew" Wagner, 38, of Jacksonville, died Friday, November 10, 2023, at his mom's home.

He was born January 27, 1985, the son of Gary W. and Margaret Wagner.

He is survived by his mom, Margaret of Jacksonville; sister, Marley Wagner (Jesse Coale) of St. Louis, MO; niece and nephew, Benjamin and Cecelia Coale; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; his dog, Dale; and cat, RHONDA. He was preceded in death by his father.

Drew previously worked in landscaping, at the Elks Lodge as a bartender, and was owner and operator of Voelkel Glass in Jacksonville. He also lovingly cared for Tooth Acres in South Jacksonville.

Drew was artistic, creative, and eclectic. He loved working with his hands, especially out in nature with trees and plants. He tended to see the value in things that others didn't, and refurbished items as gifts for others. He also enjoyed treasure hunting with his cousin Brian. Drew had lots of close friends and loved to spend time with family, his dog, and his cat. He was a good man.

A celebration of life will be held from 1-4 PM Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Elks Lodge in Jacksonville. Memorials may be given to an education fund for his niece and nephew in care of Margaret. The Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Jacksonville is assisting the family with arrangements.
