Annabell Louise Moore, 74, of Virginia, IL, died Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. She was born Feb. 22, 1947, in Springfield, the daughter of Charles Clifford Samuel and Eva Elizabeth Lindsey Miller. She is survived by two sons and one daughter, Harold Root of Timewell, Joseph Root of Virginia, and Elizabeth Bast of Virginia; six grandchildren, Michelle Root, Jessica Lynn (Dylan) Bible, Joseph Lee Root, Melissa Root, Charles Hudson, and Amanda Hudson; seven great grandchildren; and two brothers, Samuel Miller of Timewell, and Nick (Lewain) Miller of Eddyville. She was preceded in death by her parents; three grandchildren, James Hudson, Shawn Michael Hudson, and Christina Root; one sister, Judy Miller; and one brother, Charles Miller. Annabell had managed several gas stations in Oklahoma, and had later cared for residents while working at DD Homes Network in Florida and Illinois. She was a hard worker, passionate, and was very caring of her family and her friends. The family will meet friends 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at the Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Virginia.
