Barbara L. Dudley, 85, died Friday, Sept. 15, 2023, at Willow Rose Rehab and Health Care in Jerseyville, IL.

She was born in Danville, on Nov. 25, 1937, twenty minutes after her twin sister, the daughter of Lloyd P. and Virginia (Clements) Dudley. She married Wilbur Boehs, of Bluffs, and they later divorced.

Barbara is survived by four children, Jim Boehs of West Covina, CA, Ken (Marilyn) Boehs and Elaine (Dennis) Jarman, both of Jacksonville, and Anna (Dan) Hogan of Wentzville, MO; six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandson, who was born Sept. 14 of this year; her twin sister, Elizabeth Agassi (deceased husband Mike) of Las Vegas, NV; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Shirley Swett and her husband Don.

Ms. Dudley attended Lafayette Elementary School and Jacksonville High School. She was an accomplished seamstress and later in life, she achieved her lifelong dream of being a nurse by obtaining her LPN certification.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Jacksonville is in charge of arrangements.
