Beth Ann Hankins, 67, of Jacksonville, IL, died Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital.

She was born January 17, 1956, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Joseph A. and Mary Ellen (Phalen) Hankins.

Beth is survived by her daughter, Leigh-Ann (Brandy Campbell) Baker of Jacksonville; granddaughter, Zoe Campbell; siblings, Joseph P. (Nancy) Hankins of Jacksonville, Col. James F. (Lusica) Hankins of Osage Beach, MO, Maralee Hankins and Michael (Janine) Hankins, both of Jacksonville; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her nephew, Drew Cody.

Beth graduated from Routt Catholic High School in 1974. She very much loved and cared for her daughter, Leigh-Ann. She also loved her dog, Ruby, watching I Love Lucy , Marilyn Monroe, and attending her aerobics class at the Bob Freesen YMCA. She was a proud fighter and survivor of cancer.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations in memory of Beth Ann can be donated to PAWS of Jacksonville. The Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Jacksonville is assisting the family with arrangements.
