Candy Lou Lyons, 66, of Ashland, IL died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022, at her home. She was born Apr. 24, 1956, in Newton, KS, the daughter of Bernard and Ila Jean (Pierce) Ball. She is survived by two daughters, Amber (Ken) Barstow of Yuma, AZ, and Nicole McGinnis (significant other Chase French) of Mount Ayr, IA; six grandchildren, Dakota White, Jenna Pfeiffer, Jacob McGinnis, J.C. McGinnis, McKayla McGinnis, and Ryder French; two sisters and three brothers, Gloria Braddick, Bo Ball, George Tucker, Stephen (Karen) Pattison, and Ginger Williams; her good friend, Scott Anderson of Ashland; and many other loved ones. She preceded her in death by her parents; one sister, Jackie Hoff; and one brother, Kenneth Tucker. Candy was an avid reader and enjoyed flower gardening, bird watching, knitting, and was an amateur baseball lover. She loved all things. A private family service will be held at a later date.
