Charlotte D. Brown, 96, of Jacksonville, IL passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025.

She was born October 6, 1929, in Rockport, the daughter of Charles and Kathryn (Willsey) Dustin. She married Charles E. Brown on December 15, 1968, in Virginia and he preceded her in death on July 13, 2013.

Charlotte is survived by her daughters, Nancy Anderson and Sarah Reische, both of Jacksonville, and Carolyn (Mike) Hitchcock of Lewistown; grandchildren, Jennifer (Shanon) Brickey, Dustin (Katie) Brown, Aaron (Jamie) Anderson, and Brandon Reische; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her sister, Jane Hillyard.

Charlotte graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1948. She retired from Farmers State Bank & Trust in 1991. She loved fishing, baking, and gardening.

A private family service will be held with burial at Diamond Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society or to Moments Hospice.
