Colleen M. "Jackie" Utley, 90, of Jacksonville, IL, went to be home with the Lord on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at The Grove Nursing and Rehab Center in Jacksonville.

She was born November 9, 1934, in Leachville, AR, to the parents of Joe and Ethel (Dunning) Wilson. She married her high school sweetheart, Lester Utley, on October 6, 1951.

Jackie worked at Bill Wade Photography for several years. And later owned Merle Norman Cosmetics in Jacksonville, Forsyth, and Bloomington. She was also a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Roger Utley (wife Becky) of Franklin; four grandchildren, Kathy Fauth (husband Doug) of Peoria, Donald Utley (wife Maryann) of Murrayville, Gretchen Tonellato (husband Joe) of Jacksonville, and Elizabeth Lamb (husband Jared) of Schererville, IN; nine great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson on the way. She is also survived by three brothers, Bill, George, and Calvin (wife Linda) Wilson; one sister, Laura Dustin (husband Verl); and several nieces and nephews.

Jackie and Lester celebrated 70 years of marriage, and he preceded her in death on October 14, 2021. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sheila Jones; one son-in-law, Karl Jones; and one sister-in-law, Martha Wilson.

A private graveside service will take place at Diamond Grove Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to Lighthouse Baptist Church. The Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Jacksonville is in charge of the arrangements.
