David Clark Fisher, 63, of Jacksonville, Il passed away Friday, Aug. 9, 2024, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

He was born Oct. 26, 1960, in Jacksonville, the son of Corydon and Davalie (Krieg) Fisher. He married Brenda Pierson on May 10, 1997, and she survives.

He is also survived by his son, Kevin Pierson of Jacksonville; his mother, Davalie Fisher of Jacksonville; and one brother, Jeffrey Fisher of Springfield. He was preceded in death by his father; and two brothers, Cedric and Gregory Fisher.

Mr. Fisher was a 1978 graduate of Jacksonville High School. He owned and operated Mallard Mechanical for many years. He was a member of Jacksonville Rotary Club and had been involved with Boy Scout Troop 103, and he also had served as Scout Leader. David enjoyed duck and goose hunting and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

A funeral service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024, at the Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Jacksonville. The family will meet friends 2-4 p.m. prior to the service.
