Doneille April Lynnatia Burton, 19, of Springfield, IL, died Sunday, August 6, 2023, at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

She was born November 10, 2003, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Michael R. Welch and Ida Marie Burton.

Doneille is survived by her mother of Jacksonville; three sisters, Deadia, Dezire, and Dahlia Burton, all of Jacksonville; maternal grandparents, Ida Claybrook of Rock Island, and Thomas Burton of Jacksonville; paternal grandmother, Bonnie Miller of Camp Point; her companion, Randy Crockett of Springfield; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father who raised her, Michael R. Welch; and two sisters, DarKena Vernae Lujenia Burton and Daiziana Tanaqua Marie Burton.

Doneille was a fireball and loved music. She was very giving, had a very big heart and beautiful smile. She loved and cared greatly for her family. Doneille loved her second mama, Thomasena Burton, and especially loved her nephew, T.T. (Zayvion Allen Welch).

The family will meet friends 10-11 a.m. Thursday, August 17, 2023, at the Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Jacksonville. Memorials are suggested to the family to assist with funeral services in care of Ida Burton. Condolences may be left online at buchanancody.com.
