Donna R. Fox, 69, of Virginia, IL, died Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at her home.

She was born Jan. 4, 1955, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Robert W. and Jessie Mae (McDaniel) Fox.

She is survived by three brothers, Gale Fox (wife, Martha) of Chatham, Dale Fox (wife, Marilyn) of Virginia, and Roger Fox (companion, Tammy) of rural Ashland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Robert J. Fox.

Donna was a 1973 graduate of Virginia High School. As a young woman, she worked for Ben Franklin Five and Dime and the Copper Kettle, both in Virginia. She later worked in banking for Lincoln Douglas in Virginia, Petersburg, and Jacksonville, before going to work at Walker Nursing Home in Virginia, where she was the activities director for several years. She was an avid race fan, loved shopping on QVC and Amazon, and especially loved her cats.

A graveside memorial service will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Virginia. Memorial gifts are suggested to Walker Nursing Home Activity Fund.
