Elizabeth Esther Lacey, 53, of Jacksonville, IL, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, at her home.

She was born Nov. 3, 1971, in Pittsfield, the daughter of Donald and Connie (Hawkins) Lacey.

She is survived by her daughter and her son, Alisha Lacey of Moriarty, NM and Jordan Foster of Jacksonville; one sister, Tina Lacey of Winchester; and one brother, Donnie Lacey of Mahomet. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Lacey; and her mother and stepfather, Connie and John "Jack" Riggs.

Elizabeth was a graduate of Winchester High School and Lincoln Land Community College. She enjoyed arts and crafts and going to yard sales.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held beginning 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 2025, at the Lone Star Bar, 230 Co. Hwy 7, Glasgow, IL 62694. Memorials are suggested to the family to assist with expenses, in care of Jordan Foster. The Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Jacksonville is assisting the family.
