She had been a homemaker for the last several years. Known as Grandma Evie, she loved spending time with family. She especially enjoyed having the grandkids visit the farm and spoiling them with their favorite snacks and always made sure they went home with money in their pockets. She experienced many memorable trips with Owen to Oregon to visit family. Evelyn enjoyed the simple things in life, cooking for her family, visiting with neighbors and friends, Sunday drives, and relaxing in her recliner with her cat, Fluffy Mae, by her side. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts. A funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022, at the Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Meredosia, with burial at Oakland Cemetery.
