Frank L. Rozycke, 95, Jacksonville, IL died Saturday, July 1, 2023, at StoneBridge Memory Care in Jacksonville.

He was born May 7, 1928, in Madison, IL, the son of Francis and Julia (Kutzena) Rozycke. He married Evelyn M. Burrows on June 23, 1951, in Takoma Park, MD, and she preceded him in death on June 13, 2017.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Steve) Sanders of Lynnville, one grandson, Steven Sanders, Jr. of Jacksonville; and his granddaughter, Mariah Ann Sanders of Roodhouse. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and his brothers and sisters.

Frank retired from the Jacksonville Developmental Center where he was an activities therapist. He was also a truant officer for Morgan, Cass, and Scott Counties. He served in the United States Navy from 1945 to 1952. He was a member of Church of Our Saviour and a former member of the Jacksonville American Legion. He loved to bowl, was an avid golfer, loved making crafts, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

A visitation will be held 4-6 PM Friday, July 7, 2023, at the Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Jacksonville. Following cremation rites, a graveside service for both Frank and Evelyn will be held 11:00 AM Monday, July 10, 2023, at Diamond Grove Cemetery.
