Fred Kriegler, Jr., 94, of Jacksonville, IL died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2022, at Jacksonville Skilled Nursing. He was born Nov. 29, 1927, in Winchester, the son of Fred Sr. and Lida Bell Chaney Kriegler. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marjorie; four sisters, Anna Louise Barber, Helen Lawson, Edith Lamkular, and Irene Meadows; and two brothers, Carl William Kriegler and Wilbur Crews. Mr. Kriegler was a carpenter by trade. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. A private burial will be held at a later date at Winchester Cemetery.
