Guy S. Baker, 63, of Meredosia, IL and a former longtime Dallas, TX resident, went for his eternal ride in the sky on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at his home. He was born May 11, 1957, in El Paso, TX, the son of James and Phyllis Flynn Baker. He is survived by his mother, Phyllis Barfield (J.R.) Writt; three sisters, Cheryl (Steve) Elston, Debbie (Randy) Buescher, and Becky Baker; two nieces; three great nephews; one great niece; and his best friend, Dave Gregory. Mr. Baker worked climbing towers for 20 years. He was a radical Dallas Cowboys fan, enjoyed his Harleys, and loved to have a good time! Guy will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service will be hosted by the family 5:00 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2021, at the Naples Boat Club in Meredosia.
