Jack Wilbur Kinsell, 71, of Jacksonville, IL, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital. He was born Feb. 22, 1950, in Jacksonville, the son of Wilbur and Winifred (Small) Kinsell. He married Lugene Tieman on July 4, 1985, in Jacksonville, and she survives. He is also survived by four children, Patrick (Michelle) Tallman and sons Isaiah and Cole, all of Chatham, Suzanne (Will) Simmons of Sherman, Rachael (Steve) Rives and children, Lucy and Owen, all of Greenfield, and Thomas Kinsell of Springfield; one brother, Dan (Wanda) Kinsell of Springfield; and one sister, Kelly (Mat) Mathieu of Dandridge, TN. Jack loved to travel and enjoyed riding his Honda Goldwing motorcycle. He looked forward to drinking margaritas with his friends on Thursdays. Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 1-4 pm at The Hangout Bar and Grill. BBQ pulled pork sandwiches will be served.
