Jane Ann Heitbrink, of Singer Island, FL, has sadly passed away at the age of 79. Jane is survived by her loving sons, Robert Heitbrink and David (Jodi) Heitbrink, her granddaughter, Megan Heitbrink, grandchildren Emily, Cal, and Joe, many nieces and nephews, and wonderful friends. Predeceasing Jane are Charlie, her devoted husband of 59 years, her brother Jim, and her parents. Jane graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1962, then attended the School of Nursing at Passavant Hospital. She was an adoring mother to both Rob and Dave, and played a supportive role in all family related events and activities. Always a consummate hostess, Jane loved to entertain at her home, and possessed a seemingly innate ability to cater for a crowd. She may have acquired this talent while, during her formative years, her parents owned and operated The Ranch House Restaurant in South Jacksonville. It was there where she met Charlie, whom she married, in 1964. During her life, Jane served on the Passavant Hospital Board, was a lifetime member of the Passavant Auxiliary, and was a supporter of The Art Association of Jacksonville. In 1986, Jane acquired her Illinois Real Estate Appraiser License, and appraised properties for Heitbrink Realtors, and later Remax Results Plus. Janes life will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday April 13th, 2023 at Faith Lutheran Church in Jacksonville, where she was a member. The Rev. Adam Dichsen will officiate. Burial will follow at the Diamond Grove Columbarium. Memorial donations may be made to Cass- Schuyler Area Hospice, 331 South Main Street, Virginia, IL, 62691, or Faith Lutheran Church, 1385 W.
