Jane Surratt, 79, of Jacksonville, IL passed away Friday, Dec. 20, 2024, at her home.

She was born Aug. 12, 1945, in Hinsdale, the daughter of Allen and Doris (Ingram) Fryman. She married Larry Michael Surratt on Jan. 1, 1967, in Jacksonville and he preceded her in death on Oct. 10, 2019.

She is survived by two daughters, Michelle (John) Patty of St. Peters, MO and Jeanette (Josie) Surratt of Jacksonville; two grandchildren, Joshua (Stephanie) Patty of Carver, MN and Lucas Patty of Scottsdale, AZ; two bonus grandchildren, Quin Murray and Patty Murray, both of Jacksonville; two great grandchildren, Drake RaeLynne Patty and Carson Celeste Patty; three sisters, Diane (John) Banister of Springfield, Nancy Fryman of Jacksonville, and Susie (Mark) Rice of Jacksonville; and one brother, Mike (Carla) Fryman of Murphysboro, TN.

Mrs. Surratt was a 1963 graduate of Winchester High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for Warelubco for many years.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2025, at the Church of Our Saviour. The family will meet friends from 9-10 a.m. prior to the service.
