Jill J. Flynn, 63, of Jacksonville, IL, died Saturday, January 21, 2023, at her home. She was born June 22, 1959, in Beardstown, the daughter of George and Loretta (Ruyle) Flynn. She is survived by her sisters, Tami Slocum of Jacksonville and Candace (Dale) Woolsey of Roodhouse; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sandra Jean Walker and her husband Rodney; one niece; and two nephews. Jill graduated Meredosia-Chambersburg High School in 1977 and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. She worked in customer service. She enjoyed traveling, bird watching, the St. Louis Cardinals, the Chicago Bears, playing poker, and Mickey Mouse. She loved her dog, Tippy, but Jill especially loved her sisters. A visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023, at the Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Meredosia. Memorials are suggested to PAWS of Jacksonville.
