Judith Elaine "Judy" Scott Woolfolk, 81, of Franklin, Illinois, died Thursday, November 27, 2025, at her home.

She was born June 16, 1944, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Edward and Inez (Houston) Scott. Judy married Michael L. "Mick" Woolfolk on September 25, 1966, at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Jacksonville. He preceded her in death on September 12, 2020.

She is survived by four children, Susan Randall (Michael) of White Hall, Diane Bethard (Jason) of Carlinville, Michael "Fred" Woolfolk (Sylvia) of Scottville, and Amy Behl (Ryan) of Petersburg; 12 grandchildren, John Randall, Tiffany Elliott (Jeremy), Hannah Admire (Brandon), Sarah Coppenbarger (Jason), Nathan Randall (Karlie), Bethany Randall, Evan Bethard, Ian Bethard, Caleb Woolfolk, Avery Woolfolk, Shelby Behl, and Cole Behl; and 7 great grandchildren, David, Noah, and Briella Admire, Miles and Dax Coppenbarger, and Blakleigh and Everleigh Bethard. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, Jim Scott.

Judy graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1962. She worked at the medical records office at Passavant Area Hospital and Carlinville Area Hospital. She was also a mammograph receptionist at Springfield Memorial Hospital, where she retired from. In her spare time, Judy enjoyed watching hummingbirds, and spending time with her family and beloved dog, Cletus.

A graveside service will be held 10 AM Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Panther Creek Cemetery in rural Scottville, off of East Scottville Road. Memorial gifts are suggested to Carlinville Area Hospital Auxiliary or PAWS of Jacksonville. The Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Jacksonville is in charge of the arrangements.
