Kim M. Costello, 64, of Franklin, IL died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023, at Belleville Memorial Hospital. She was born July 25, 1958, in Jerseyville, the daughter of Glenn Roegge and Ruth Collins Cox. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Cox, and Don Cox, who she considered a father, both of Jacksonville; four daughters, Nicole (Sam) Fromme of Franklin, Samantha (Troy) Long of Chatham, Michelle Costello of Jacksonville and Maria Costello of Franklin; seven grandchildren, Kinley White, Kellan Fromme, Cooper Fromme, Maya Long, Myles Long, Carson Wallbaum and Lane Mahan; three brothers and two sisters, Homer Roegge, Danny Roegge, Kay (Ed) Wright, Brenda (Alan) Anders and Timmy Roegge; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. Kim was a graduate of Jacksonville High School. She loved to sew, paint and crochet. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking. A graveside service will be held 11:30 am Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, at Providence Cemetery near Franklin. The Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Jacksonville is in charge of arrangements.
