Kristen Donnell Fry, 42, of Jacksonville, Illinois, died Sunday, September 14, 2025, at her home.

She was born February 8, 1983, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Richard Fry and Dara Ankrom.

She is survived by her father, Richard Fry; mother, Dara Foglesong; son, Xavier; siblings, Anthony Fry and Brandynne Allgaier; grandmother, Judy Taylor; grandfather, Lowell Ankrom; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence Fry and Eva Myers.

Kris was a 2001 graduate of Jacksonville High School and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed doing crafts and woodworking, and loved her dog, Chase. Kris most loved spending time with her son, Xavier.

Cremation services will be rendered, and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations are suggested to her son, Xavier, in care of Dara Foglesong. The Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Jacksonville is assisting the family with arrangements.
