Linda M. Chaudoin, 76, of Jacksonville, IL, died Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Heritage Health in Jacksonville.

She was born February 7, 1947, in Jacksonville, the daughter of James R. and Florence M. (Flynn) Stout.

Linda is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Carl Chaudoin; sisters, Dorothy Ann Ashbaker and Judy K. Stephenson; and brother, James Stout.

Linda worked as a machine operator at Mobil Chemical in Jacksonville and then for the Illinois Department of Employment Security as a secretary. She enjoyed drawing and reading, especially books by Stephen King.

A graveside service will be held 11 am, Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Jacksonville East Cemetery. The family will meet friends at the cemetery from 10 am until the time of service.
