Lynn Starner, 64, formerly of Vacaville, CA, passed away Wed. Dec. 29, 2021, at her mothers home in South Jacksonville, IL. She was born July 8, 1957, in Mt. Carmel, IL, the daughter of Jerry Kuykendall and Lois June Lane Allen. She married Keith Starner on Aug. 25, 1985, in Maroa, IL, and he preceded her in death on July 14, 2013. She is survived by her mother, June Allen of South Jacksonville; two sisters, Sue Kuykendall of Champaign and Lisa (Scott) Whitlock of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews including Linsey (Derek) Feldman of Plainwell, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband, her father, and stepfather, David Allen, Sr. Lynn worked for The Reporter in Vacaville, CA for many years and continued with freelance work. Cremation rites have been accorded. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial gifts are suggested to Animal Place, 17314 McCourtney Road; Grass Valley, CA 95949.
