Mary Ann Buster, 81, of Jacksonville, IL, died Friday, December 9, 2022, at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital. Mary was born November 25, 1941, in Beardstown, the daughter of Howard and Jessie (Withrow) Stambaugh. She married Joseph Lee Buster on July 6, 1962, in Jacksonville. He preceded her in death on July 8, 2005. She is survived by her two children, Joey (Debbie) Buster and Patty (Andy) Feller, both of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Ashley Buster, Jessica Buster (Chris Brassel), David (Erica) Buster, all of Jacksonville, Laura (Michael Baker) Feller of Lisle, Ryan Feller (Emily Holland) of Edwardsville, and Corey Reif and Elliott (Ashton) Reif, both of Jacksonville; great grandchildren, Angel Dugan, Jalen Morgan, Ayden Myers, Bryce Dugan, Trenton Haley, Taelyn Buster, Avery Buster, Emmett Reif, and Emerson Reif; and her siblings, Richard Stambaugh, Betty Stambaugh, Judy Stambaugh, and Norma Stambaugh, all of Jacksonville. Mrs. Buster was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sisters, June Fox and Virginia Stambaugh. Mrs. Buster and her husband co-owned and operated Buster Sanitation Service. She loved to travel, do puzzles, and decorate her home for every holiday. She especially loved spending time with her family and loved her cats Baby and Max. The family would like to give a special thanks to Home Instead caregivers. A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 15, 2022, at the Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Jacksonville, with burial at Diamond Grove Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 9:3010:30 a.m. prior to the service. Memorials are suggested to the American Red Cross or Jacksonville Salvation Army.
