Mary J. Williams, 76, of Jacksonville, IL, died Thursday, June 23, 2022, at her home. She was born Sept. 27, 1945, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Rexford E. and Mary E. Robbins Williams. She is survived by one brother, James L. Williams; three nephews, Rex Williams, Jim (Natalie) Williams and Scott Williams; and several great nieces and great nephews, all of Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by one niece, Rosemary Garman. Mary retired from the State of Illinois Department of Insurance where she was an executive assistant for over 20 years. She loved taking care of her cats. Private family services will be held at a later date at Diamond Grove Cemetery in Jacksonville.
