Obituary

Quentin Crayne, 23, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023, in Pensacola. FL.

Quentin was the most driven, sweet, and selfless 23-year-old a person could meet. A class clown, beyond amazing brother, a perfect son, and a best friend for life. His light and happy presence never failed to fill a room with pure laughter. He was truly an inspiration to all, constantly impacting his family and peers with a positive strong mindset. Not only did he have the mindset, but he also put it into action every day and every day he woke up dedicated to bettering himself and everyone around him. The only guy who was so disciplined he would run 20 miles in the middle of the night just because he couldn't sleep. Quentin loved all of his hobbies, from listening to podcasts, training for MMA fighting, collecting cards/knives, reading, and most importantly spending time with his friends and family. The love and endless smiles he brought into our lives will forever be cherished. His charisma has truly left an impact in our hearts. He died a hero to his family and friends, forever looking out for us all.

He is survived by his father James Lee Crayne, mother Shelly Lynn Brickey-Crayne, brother James Charles Crayne, sister Olivia Lynn Crayne, grandmother Sharon Louise Brickey, and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by grandfather David Robert Brickey, grandmother Kayla Ruth Crayne, and great grandfather Charles Wayne Simpson.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 11, 2023, at the Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Jacksonville. The family will meet friends 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be held following the service. Condolences may be left at buchanancody.com.
