Rosanne Reid, age 69, of Bloomington, IL, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024, at the Apostolic Christian Home in Eureka.

Rosanne was born on January 28, 1954, to Donald and Patsy (Hill) Bergman in Beardstown. Rosanne graduated from Perry High School in 1972. Later, she went on to study at Lincoln Land Community College and then Illinois State University where she graduated with honors.

Rosanne was a woman of kindness, compassion and service and her large extended family and friends will cherish the memories they have of her.

Rosanne was preceded in death by her mother, Patsy Bergman; and two siblings, Gregory and Timothy. She is survived by her son, Matt (Sara) Reid; three grandchildren, Dylan Lowe, Landon Reid and Lakynn Reid; her father, Donald Bergman; and five siblings, Dennis (Amy) Bergman, Leah (Tim) Priest, Mark Bergman, Sally (Gary) Hodgson, and Tom (Martha) Bergman.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, February 2, 2024, at Church of Our Saviour in Jacksonville. The family will meet friends 10-11 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be held at Wilson Cemetery in Perry at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Apostolic Christian Home in Eureka in appreciation of their many years of amazing care they provided Rosanne.
