Sarah Jane "Sally" Coble Rainey, 70, of Ft. Worth, TX and formerly of Jacksonville, IL passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday evening, January 11, 2022, at her home. She was born June 19, 1951, the daughter of Frank Coble and Janet "Jane" Latham Coble. They both precede in death along with her eldest brother, Phil Coble. She is survived by her husband of over 44 years, Jerry Rainey; her sons, John and Jordan Rainey; four grandchildren; her siblings, Dave Coble, Rich Coble, and twin sister, Pat (Coble) Hayes; and several nieces and nephews. Sally graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1969, where she was a superb musician. She received a bachelors degree from SIU-Carbondale and employed by Transamerica Insurance until her retirement. She loved her cats and was supportive of the animal organizations who support pet adoption. Her favorite times were those spent with her grandchildren. Cremation rites have been accorded.
