Scott A. White, 53, of Ashland, IL passed away Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024, at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital.

He was born April 24, 1971, in Springfield, the son of Jeanie Guffey White of Ashland and she survives. He is also survived by two brothers, Shane (Pam) White of Lincoln, AL, and Steven White of Jensen Beach, FL; one nephew, Brooks White, and one niece, Collins White; and his aunt, Karen Atwood of Ashland.

Scott was a 1989 graduate of Ashland High School. He then entered the workforce, working for Stevens Implement in Petersburg and later Beard Implement in Prentice. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Ashland and had been a volunteer firefighter for Ashland Fire Department. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing darts. Scott was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
