Susan Ann Thomas, 68, of Jacksonville, IL, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025, at The Grove.

She was born on January 25, 1957, in St. Joseph, MO, the daughter of David and Beulah (Lewis) Kyle. She was married to Danny Thomas and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by three daughters, Melissa Hart of St. Joseph, MO,  Natasha Burgess of Freeman, MO, and Angela Burgess of Jacksonville; eight grandchildren; five siblings, Betty (Dennis) Hautzerrader of Petaluma, CA, Jesse (Sherrie) Kyle of Brookfield, Catherine (Kenneth) Proffit of Lenexa, KS, Abraham (Lorraine) Kyle of Lenexa, KS, and George (Misty) Kyle of St. Joseph, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her granddaughter, Joselyn; three siblings, David Kyle Jr, Samuel Kyle and Hazel Kyle.

Susan was very loving, kind, helpful, and a blessing in disguise.
