Teresa Mae Adams passed away October 2, 2021, at her home in Orlando, FL. Born Teresa Mae Anderson on February 20, 1959, in Galesburg, IL, to Robert Eugene and Lily (Van Horn) Anderson. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Adams; son, Franklin Adams of Albuquerque, NM; her mother, Lily Steele of Jacksonville; brother, Robert Anderson of Paw Paw, IL; sister, Barbara (Doug) Black of OFallon, MO; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, W. E. Steele. Teresa attended Our Saviour Grade School and graduated in 1977 from Routt Catholic High School. She was a member of Church of Our Saviour. On June 27, 1981, Teresa married Timothy Adams at Grace United Methodist Church in Jacksonville. Tim and Teresa spent most of their forty years of marriage in Orlando. She loved her family and many pets, especially Puff he was rescued as a kitten during a hurricane. A graveside memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, at the Calvary Cemetery Columbarium. A Celebration of Life gathering will follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jacksonville. Memorials are suggested to Our Saviour Grade School, Routt Catholic High School, or PAWS in Jacksonville.
