Timmy Lee Blakeman, 53, of Philadelphia, IL, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025, at his home.

He was born October 9, 1971, in Jacksonville, IL, the son of Harry & Ellen (Shafer) Blakeman.

He is survived by his mother Ellen (Shafer) Blakeman and several aunts, uncles & cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father Harry (Shorty) Blakeman, Grandparents Cecil & Esther Shafer and Moses & Anna Blakeman.

Timmy graduated from Virginia High School. He enjoyed collecting baseball cards and Old Vinyl Records. Tim was a huge St. Louis Cardinals Fan.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 1:00pm at Garner Chapel Cemetery. The Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Virginia is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials can be made to PAWS in Jacksonville.

Family & Friends would like to invite everyone to gather at St. Luke's Hall in Virginia immediately after the graveside service from 2-4pm.
